This was everything I wanted from this sequel. And so utterly powerful and important. Anders means the World to me.

Wow, I'm actually speechless and glad that it's the weekend, since I've read Anderson's and Brody's story in one setting. I just couldn't put it down.This book was unexpected. I need to be honest: I loved the first book, but I didn't quite connect with Anderson until now, after having finished his story.And what a story this has been. Without getting into too much detail: The author manages to slowly build up a relationship between the two MCs that is marked by heartbreak, many setbacks but in the end a lot of honesty, patience and love.While I totally admire Anderson's absolute strength (even though he would be totally disgreeing now ;-))) ), I love Brody's big heart, his compassion and patience to wait and fight for what he loves.This isn't your "typical" falling-in-love story. This is a story where love comes at a cost. And this is why this book is totally worth reading!On a side note: After having read the author's preface (which is actually at the end of the book), I even more admire the book and its story. This one will stick with me for quite a while, I'm sure.Can't wait for more stories about the Steele brothers :)

In this second book of the "Steele Brothers" series, we finally hear Anders story, Laws twin, that we already know from book one of the series.If u haven't read it yet, I would highly recommend it, it's not just an awesome book, it also gives a lot of insight to Anders story, which is definitely nice before you start with "Unspoken Vow"."Unspoken Vow" is a very emotional book which deals with Anders trauma from an awful past experience, the way it still affects him even in daily life, and much more so in finding love. But theres thisone guy, despite all this, he can't get out of his head.Brody is awesome, he's a very understanding considerate partner - he does misunderstand Anders and his actions at first, but still can't resist offering him a room, because he's so drawn in by Anders.There are up and downs, while the two of them get to know each other and built up trust and form a bond. Its a long way for both of them to be together, but it's awesome to witness Anders steadily moving forward and accompany both of them through this book.The author did a fantastic job with this book, I highly enjoyed reading.About triggers: there is nothing in this book I personally found disturbing, but if u are a sensitive person, u might want to read the trigger warnings first, since this book is about a sensitive subject.
